By creating an account or using MadeTrust, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MadeTrust.
1. What MadeTrust Does
MadeTrust provides tools that allow creators and businesses to:
- Create a MadeTrust profile
- Verify certain online accounts or information
- Connect supported social and online platforms
- Register creation records
- Generate verification links and QR codes
- Share verification information with customers
MadeTrust is intended to provide an identity and online-presence verification layer. MadeTrust is not a marketplace, payment platform, escrow service, product-review platform, or guarantee service.
2. What "Verified Creator" Means
A "Verified Creator" status means that MadeTrust has successfully verified one or more specific pieces of information associated with that creator according to the verification method used.
For example, "YouTube Verified" means that MadeTrust successfully completed the applicable YouTube account verification process.
It does not mean that MadeTrust guarantees:
- The creator's honesty
- Product quality or safety
- Business legitimacy in every jurisdiction
- Copyright ownership, intellectual-property ownership, or originality of every creation
- Customer service, shipping, delivery, or refunds
- Financial reliability or legal compliance
Verification should therefore not be interpreted as a guarantee or endorsement.
3. Creation Records
MadeTrust may allow creators to register individual creations. A creation record is information submitted by the creator. MadeTrust does not automatically determine that the creator legally owns the intellectual property associated with that creation.
A creation record is not:
- A copyright registration
- A patent registration
- A trademark registration
- A legal ownership certificate
- A government-issued intellectual-property record
- A guarantee of originality
Registration of a creation does not grant copyright or any other intellectual-property right. Creators are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is accurate and that they have the necessary rights to submit and publish it.
4. Creator Responsibilities
You agree that information you provide to MadeTrust is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must not:
- Impersonate another person or business
- Create a fraudulent verification
- Connect an account you do not control
- Submit false creation information
- Upload content you do not have the right to use
- Use MadeTrust to deceive customers
- Attempt to bypass verification
- Abuse the reporting system
- Attack or interfere with the MadeTrust service
- Use MadeTrust for unlawful purposes
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to MadeTrust, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the service.
By submitting content, you grant MadeTrust a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide MadeTrust services
- Display your public profile and public creation records
- Generate verification pages, QR codes, and shareable links
- Maintain backups and security
- Improve the service
You can control the visibility of supported content through the settings available on MadeTrust.
6. Public Profiles
If you choose to create a public creator profile, information you mark or configure as public may be accessible to anyone with access to the profile. You are responsible for the information you choose to publish.
MadeTrust does not guarantee that third parties will not copy, screenshot, archive, or otherwise reproduce publicly available information.
7. Reports
MadeTrust may provide tools for users to report:
- Impersonation
- Fake creator accounts
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Misuse of creation information
- Other violations of these Terms
Submitting a report does not automatically mean that the reported account or content is fraudulent.
MadeTrust may review reports and take action at its discretion, including requesting additional information, restricting visibility, suspending accounts, or removing content.
8. Verification Decisions
MadeTrust may:
- Approve or reject verification
- Request additional information
- Temporarily suspend or revoke verification
- Require re-verification
Verification may expire or become invalid if the underlying account or information changes. For example, if a creator disconnects or loses control of a verified social account, MadeTrust may remove the corresponding verification status.
9. Third-Party Platforms
MadeTrust integrates with third-party services such as Google / YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Etsy, and X. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their respective terms and policies.
MadeTrust does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that their APIs, authentication systems, or integrations will remain available. A platform may change or discontinue an API without notice to MadeTrust.
Verification Reports and Electronic Records
MadeTrust may allow users to generate downloadable reports containing information and verification events maintained by the platform, including creator verification records, verified account or domain information, registered creations, and relevant activity history.
These reports are intended to provide a record of information maintained by MadeTrust at or around the time indicated in the report. A MadeTrust report is not a copyright registration, copyright certificate, ownership certificate, authenticity certificate, legal title document, or guarantee of ownership or authenticity.
Under India's Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, electronic or digital records may have legal effect or evidentiary value subject to the requirements of applicable law. Section 63 sets out conditions concerning the admissibility of certain electronic records and provides for certification requirements in relevant proceedings.
MadeTrust does not represent or warrant that any particular report will be admissible as evidence in any court, tribunal, authority, or other proceeding. The legal effect, admissibility, evidentiary value, and weight of any report depend on the circumstances, applicable law, the manner in which the record was created and maintained, and the requirements of the relevant proceeding.
Users are responsible for determining whether a MadeTrust report is appropriate for their particular legal, commercial, contractual, or other purpose and should obtain independent legal advice where necessary.
MadeTrust may preserve records, timestamps, verification events, and other technical information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Intellectual Property
The MadeTrust service, including its software, branding, interface, logos, designs, and original content, is owned by MadeTrust or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit MadeTrust's software or branding without permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your creations or intellectual property to MadeTrust.
11. No Guarantee
MadeTrust is provided as a verification and information service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MadeTrust does not guarantee that:
- Every verified creator is trustworthy
- Every creation is original
- Every creator owns the intellectual property they claim
- Every verification is permanently accurate
- Every fraudulent account will be detected
- Every report will result in action
- The service will always be available
- Third-party integrations will always work
MadeTrust helps users verify specific information. It does not replace their own judgment.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that:
- The account is fraudulent
- The user is impersonating another person
- The user has provided materially false information
- The user has violated these Terms
- The user has abused the verification system
- The user presents a security or legal risk
You may stop using MadeTrust at any time.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MadeTrust is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We disclaim warranties that cannot legally be excluded and, to the extent permitted by law, warranties relating to uninterrupted availability, accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MadeTrust and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MadeTrust and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of MadeTrust
- Content you submit
- Your violation of another person's rights
- Fraudulent or unauthorized use of your account
16. Changes to MadeTrust
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of MadeTrust at any time. We may also add, remove, or modify verification providers and features.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we may provide reasonable notice.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
